The Nuggets and Western Union have agreed to a three-year sponsorship deal that will result in the company’s logo as a patch on the team’s new jerseys, the Nuggets announced Tuesday.
Western Union (NYSE: WU), its global headquarters located in Denver, is the 11th company to sign a jersey sponsorship deal with an NBA team. The league approved the sale of jersey sponsorships last April.
A fresh, new look…
The Nuggets are expected to unveil the new jerseys, produced by Nike, in a news conference later Tuesday morning.
“We are proud to have this new partnership with Western Union who, like the Nuggets, are Colorado-based but with an incredible international presence,” Kroenke Sports and Entertainment CEO Jim Martin said in a statement.
