Everything that happens in NBA preseason games should be taken with a grain of salt, but still, it was impossible to watch the Nuggets lose to the Timberwolves on Saturday night and not be concerned about the team’s defense. They allowed 128 points and seemed to offer very little resistance for most of the night.
Minnesota was dictating the terms when they had the ball, pushing the Nuggets around, and getting whatever they wanted. After the game, David Adelman was asked about the defense and stated, "Sitting down and guarding, keeping people in front, is a huge issue and it was tonight.
