Through the first couple of weeks of the NBA season, there haven’t been too many shocking revelations, but one team that looks like it may be better than advertised is the Portland Trail Blazers. The Nuggets’ Northwest Division rivals have already beaten Denver head-to-head and have gotten off to a 4-2 start.
We knew the Western Conference was going to be loaded this year, but Portland wasn’t exactly one of the teams expected to be in the mix. Sure, they have built up some nice momentum in recent years with a defensive culture and some promising young players.
