Nuggets backup center Mason Plumlee will change from No. 24 to No. 7 in honor of Kobe Bryant, a league source confirmed to The Denver Post.
Forward Jarred Vanderbilt, who wears No. 8, hasn’t decided whether he’ll continue wearing his number, the source said.
In the wake of Bryant’s tragic death in a helicopter crash Sunday, players like Brooklyn’s Spencer Dinwiddie and Orlando’s Terrence Ross, among others, have changed their numbers to honor him.
