What do you give a 6-foot-5, sharp-shooting NBA player for his 30th birthday?
The Nuggets’ Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has an easy answer to that question. He wants the chance to light it up during the 3-point shooting contest Feb. 18 during All-Star weekend at Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City.
“Yeah, I’d be down,” he said. “It would be a great birthday present for me. My birthday is actually on the 3-point contest, Feb. 18. So I’m excited if I get a chance to be in it. It would be my first one.”
Caldwell-Pope, in his ninth year in the NBA, certainly has the credentials.
