It took a remarkable 23-point comeback, but the Nuggets pulled out an impressive 134-133 victory in Atlanta on Friday night, extending their franchise-record road winning streak to nine straight games.
Amazingly, the team is in the midst of an infuriating four-game losing streak at home, but whenever they get away from Ball Arena lately, they seem to play their best basketball. It’s a very odd twist for a team that is consistently one of the best in the NBA at home.
But their historically great homecourt advantage hasn’t been there this season as the Nuggets are just 6-4 playing in Denver.
