Ever since the new front office tandem of Ben Tenzer and Jon Wallace took over in June, the Nuggets have done just about everything that fans have been asking for. The team continued that trend this week, announcing that their popular throwback black skyline edition jerseys will make a return this season.
NBA teams have been announcing their city edition jerseys for the upcoming season, and the Nuggets’ official Twitter account confirmed the rumors that had been going around social media, tweeting out a picture of the black skyline jersey with the caption “IT’S BACK”.
The jerseys were last worn by the Nuggets during the 2019-20 season that ended in the Bubble.
