The Denver Nuggets officially introduced Paul Millsap to the Nuggets community today, using the Montbello Rec Center as the venue. Millsap spent the majority of his childhood in the Montbello area before returning to his birth state of Louisiana.
Seated next to Millsap were Josh Kroenke, president of basketball operations Tim Connelly, general manager Arturas Karnisovas, and head coach Mike Malone.
The new power forward for the Nuggets expressed excitement to be back in the town he grew up in, but first and foremost, he expressed that Denver pitched him on a great situation.
“The sales pitch was unbelievable, they sold this community and they sold this organization in a way I didn't know it could be sold," Millsap said.
