The regular season is coming, whether the Denver Nuggets are adequately prepared or not.
The Nuggets won their final preseason game 110-104 over the Portland Trail Blazers, finishing a perfect 4-0, but it’s not the results that matter, according to coach Michael Malone.
It’s the habits his team builds in the preseason that have him most concerned.
“We’re not where we need to be in terms of ready for opening night,” Malone said prior to the game. “I’m not sure how many teams are at this point. Everybody’s got about another week to get ready for opening night.
