Nuggets go cold, fall to Celtics on second night of back-to-back

BOSTON – Denver’s business trip took a hard left turn Friday night.

Against a rested Boston Celtics team that hadn’t lost at home all season, the Nuggets were handed an 108-95 loss that underscored their offensive woes.

Despite an impassioned effort from Nikola Jokic, who reached a season-high 30 points on 13-of-21 shooting, the Nuggets fell to 14-6 on the year one night after throttling the New York Knicks.

Outside of Jokic and Jamal Murray (10 points), no other Nugget reached double digits. In addition, Denver shot just 5-of-30 from 3-point range. The Celtics, improving to 9-0 at home, buried 13 triples on the night.
