Nuggets veteran Paul Millsap has always been a student of fundamentals.
Now 35 and in the final year of his $90 million contract, his rebounding and defense continue to be staples of Denver’s identity. This past summer, he even stole a page from the new school of basketball.
Millsap reduced his heavy lifting and placed an increased emphasis on biomechanics — the study of structure, function and the motion of muscles.
