Nuggets second-round pick Bol Bol was signed to a two-way contract on Wednesday, a league source confirmed, meaning he’ll split his rookie season developing in the G League and the NBA.
Bol, the 7-foot-2 center from Oregon, won’t spend more than 45 days with the Nuggets this season unless his contract is converted to a standard one, which could happen at any time. The Nuggets have found success using this method before. Both Monte Morris and Torrey Craig were former two-way guys.
Coming off a college campaign where he only played nine games due to a foot injury, Bol remains a work in progress.
