MILWAUKEE — Jamal Murray has never lacked for confidence.
Whether it’s drawing his trademark arrow in the midst of his 48-point outburst against Boston two weeks ago or working through a shooting slump, the 21-year-old doesn’t lose his swagger.
But since plowing through Boston’s defense on Nov. 5, Murray’s been off the mark. In the ensuing six games, Murray has shot 37 percent from the field and 24 percent from beyond the 3-point line while leading the Nuggets at nearly 15 shot attempts per game. Nuggets coach Michael Malone said the slump is in his head.
