Nuggets close out perfect homestand to tie best 30-game start in franchise history

Jamal Murray had no intention of letting the Dallas Mavericks snap Denver’s rollicking winning streak.

“We can win any game,” Murray said Tuesday. “I think our mentality is not that we need to win, but that we’re going to win. By any means, we’re going to win, no matter who’s out.”

The Nuggets tightened the defensive screws in the fourth quarter and pulled away to win 126-118 at the Pepsi Center for their fourth consecutive win. At 21-9, the Nuggets have matched the 1976-77 team for the best start in the franchise’s NBA history over 30 games.
