The Denver Nuggets announced Tuesday they reached a contract extension with head coach Michael Malone, a fitting end to what’s been a fantastic stretch of basketball over the last two weeks.
Details of the extension were not released, but the deal will take him through the 2022-’23 season, according to a team source.
“This season and team has been about continuity, with Coach Malone being the first piece of that,” team owner Josh Kroenke said in a news release. “We are thrilled to continue to have him lead this promising young roster and are excited about what the future holds.
