OKLAHOMA CITY — By the end of the routine, Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon was smiling.
It started gingerly. But Gordon made shots. He tried putting weight on his injured left leg, pivoting on it. Slowly, he appeared more comfortable in his motions.
Gordon will attempt to play through a left hamstring strain in Game 7 of Denver’s second-round playoff series against the against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the team announced Sunday.
The decision was officially made about 30 minutes before tip, but sources told The Denver Post that Gordon went into his usual pregame routine planning to at least start the game and test the injury.
