Juancho Hernangomez, the No. 15 overall selection in Thursday’s NBA draft, will play for the Denver Nuggets at Summer League.
Hernangomez, 20, was a candidate for a roster spot with the Spanish national team at the Rio Olympics this summer but opted to play with the Nuggets at Summer League instead.

“In the hours before the announcement of the list of players summoned for the preparation of the Olympic Games, and because of the circumstances of his election at the 15th position NBA draft, Juancho Hernangómez has been sent to the FEB its decision participate in the Summer League team franchise, which precludes its inclusion in the call for the selection.
