Denver Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic had 12 points on 3-8 shooting, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists, as Serbia, who was led by sharpshooter Bogdan Bogdanovich advanced to the semifinals at the Rio Olympics after besting Croatia 86-83.
Jokic, who came off the bench behind starting center Miroslav Raduljica, logged 24 minutes and went 4-4 from the free throw line in the closing minutes to seal the victory for Serbia. Sharpshooters Stefan Markovic and Stefan Jovic combined to shoot 7-10 from 3-point range and score 12 and 9 points respectively for the Serbs as well.
