Brooklyn dropped its eighth consecutive game, while the Nuggets, thanks to a quality defensive half, improved to 29-24 on the season.
“We talked at halftime, and I basically said, ‘The first team that plays any defense is going to win the game,'” said Nuggets coach Michael Malone.
