In what many would describe an unsurprising move, Nikola Jokiu0107 will miss out on a top three finish in the KIA NBA Most Valuable Player award race for the 2018-19 season.
The finalists for the award are Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks, Paul George of the Oklahoma City Thunder, and James Harden of the Houston Rockets.
To be clear, all of those players are excellent, deserving of their placement on the final ballot. In the regular season, each of the above players averaged at least 27 points per game, operating as the first option on their respective playoff teams and carrying them to victories, no matter how narrow.
