Michael Porter Jr. ruled out vs. Rockets with back tightness

HOUSTON – Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. experienced back tightness while going through warmups on Wednesday prior to their game against the Rockets and has been ruled out.

Porter was seen at the Toyota Center with what appeared to be a wrap around his back a little more than an hour before the game. It’s the first time this season he’s been on the injury report. He wasn’t listed on the injury report earlier in the day.

With Porter out, the Nuggets are down five of their top seven rotation players along with Jamal Murray, Gary Harris, Paul Millsap and Mason Plumlee.
