Jamal Murray powers Nuggets past NBA-best Bucks

The Nuggets found a small slice of the energy and poise they’ve been searching for Monday night.

Against the Milwaukee Bucks, who were without reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and opted not to play all-star Khris Middleton, the Nuggets found a semblance of rhythm in their 109-95 victory at the Pepsi Center that they’ll desperately need heading into their most daunting stretch of the schedule to date.

With seven of their next eight games on the road, Denver guardJamal Murray was adamant that this one wouldn’t get away. His 21 points, five rebounds and six assists powered the Nuggets (43-21) on a night when Nikola Jokic was hardly his best version.
