Last Friday, with the news already spread that Nuggets GM Arturas Karnisovas would be the next top executive of the Chicago Bulls, Denver’s front office gathered in the way that people assemble during a global pandemic.

“It was bittersweet,” Karnisovas told The Post on Monday. “We were remembering all the stories, AK stories, just kind of reminiscing a little bit about my time in Denver.”
When he was pressed on the stories shared, Karnisovas stiff-armed the question like a seasoned executive.
“Those stories better remain untold,” he said. “That’s why it’s a private Zoom call.
