Gary Harris will play Friday, Nuggets coach says, but Trey Lyles is iffy

The Nuggets tipped off the second half of the season at full strength. For about an hour.

“We were healthy for about 50 minutes,” coach Michael Malone said Wednesday evening at the Pepsi Center after the franchise’s first practice back from the all-star break. “(Forward) Trey Lyles kind of hobbled off the court, so we’ll see what’s going on with him.

“So we were healthy for 50 minutes coming out of the break. Which was great while it lasted.”

Malone didn’t elaborate on the injury suffered by Lyles, the 6-foot-10 forward who averaged 9.2 points and 4.
