Gary Harris rescues Nuggets despite LeBron James’ historic night

LOS ANGELES – LeBron James took the bounce pass from Rajon Rondo, took one dribble and made history.

His and-one basket with 5:38 remaining in the second quarter Wednesday night at the Staples Center moved him past Michael Jordan for fourth place on the NBA’s all-time scoring list.

As James soaked in the adulation and the extended tribute video, the Nuggets kept on rolling with bigger goals, including the postseason, in mind.
