Training camp is just a few short weeks away, and the Nuggets still have an open roster spot. One of the benefits of keeping that spot open is the ability to sign a proven, veteran player who may get waived or bought out by another team that isn’t trying to contend. That exact scenario may be playing out much earlier than expected, as Bennett Durando of the Denver Post is reporting that the Jazz are “widely expected” to buy out the recently acquired Kevin Love.
Love was part of the trade that brought Norman Powell from the Clippers to the Heat this summer.
