Spotlight on Victor Oladipo: The primary piece sent from Oklahoma City to Indiana in the Paul George trade is having a breakout season thus far for a Pacers team in the thick of the Eastern Conference playoff picture. Oladipo entered Saturday ranked 13th in the NBA in scoring (23.6 points per game) while adding 5.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.8 steals per game. Nuggets coach Michael Malone coached Oladipo in the NBA Africa game last summer and was impressed by Oladipo’s combination of humility and desire to prove he was not limited to being a “sidekick” in the NBA.
