Chris “Birdman” Andersen was back at the Pepsi Center Tuesday night and watched the Denver Nuggets steamroll the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Birdman was always a fan favorite during his two stops in the Mile High City. The tat-covered big man had an athletic style of play that was popular with Denverites.
During an interview Tuesday he was asked what his favorite memory with the Nuggets was, and to my surprise he mentioned the weather and the fans. No mention of Carmelo Anthony or playing in the postseason. The fans and the cold weather… those were his greatest memories playing for the Nuggets.
