Denver Nuggets: Jamal Murray’s next jump

For the second consecutive year, Denver nabbed a star guard with the 7th overall pick (2016). Kentucky product Jamal Murray was Mile High City-bound.

Fast-forward two years, and Murray has turned heads. Jamal averaged 16.7 points in a starting role last year (ESPN). He also tallied 28 games with 20-plus points, leaving Nuggets’ fans drooling in anticipation.

Obviously, the dude can score. The question is…just how often?

Because Murray has proven himself more than a one-hit wonder, Denver has reason for optimism. Jamal didn’t score 30 points once and disappear. He is a highly proficient scorer…in about 50 percent of games played.
