The Denver Nuggets had a relatively quiet offseason. They had a limited amount of spending power with some expensive contracts on the books, but they also knew that they had a deep roster that didn’t have a ton of holes. They were focusing on developing their incumbent pieces, and they worked to build around their young pieces without blocking any of them from developing further.
The Nuggets retained Paul Millsap by picking up his team option. They extended Jamal Murray and made a trade to add Jerami Grant to their forward rotation while only giving up one first-round pick that shouldn’t affect them thanks to the current depth that they possess.
