Well, Isaiah Thomas’s Denver Nuggets debut came and went — with a sizeable amount of fanfare to boot.
IT played well in Wednesday’s win over the Kings, scoring eight points and dishing out two assists in just 13 minutes. He provided a nice spark off the bench — especially for someone who hadn’t touched the floor in 11 months.
But in the grand scheme of things, it wasn’t much. 13 minutes is a tiny sample size for a player expected to play key minutes as the Nuggets hope to make a deep playoff run.
It was a nice taste, but there should be a lot more to come.
