Nikola Jokiu0107 continued his torrid run in 2020 by posting his first triple-double of the season to lead Denver with 29 points, 15 rebounds and 14 assists. The Serbian big man also added three blocks and shot 11 of 18. The Kings were paced by Hield, who had 22 points and four rebounds.
A short offseason with minimal prep time certainly appeared evident for the Nuggets in the first game of the season as they struggled to find consistency on either end of the floor.
