Dempsey: Nuggets signing center Tyler Zeller to training camp contract

According to Chris Dempsey of Altitude TV, the Denver Nuggets have signed center Tyler Zeller to a training camp contract.

Zeller, 29, last played for the Atlanta Hawks and Memphis Grizzlies last season, playing six games during 2018-19 and averaging 7.7 points and 4.0 rebounds during 15.5 minutes per game. In 2017-18, Zeller played 66 games for the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks in a regular role as backup center.

Mike Singer, Nuggets beat writer for the Denver Post, confirms that Zeller will be brought in on a non-guaranteed training camp deal, adding an extra body for Denver’s current centers Nikola Jokic, Mason Plumlee, and Bol Bol to compete with.
