Chauncey Billups lived up to his “Mr. Big Shot” moniker on Sunday.
The Denver native and former Nuggets and CU Buffs star defeated Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young in the first round of ESPN’s H-O-R-S-E competition Sunday.
Down 3-0, the 43-year-old Billups battled back and forced five unanswered letters on Young for the win. It was capped off with a bankshot from the top of the key that Young couldn’t answer.
“That’s the way to respect your elders, Trae,” Billups said after winning.
