Altitude-Comcast blackout: Settlement conference ends without resolution but “discussions are continuing”

A settlement conference between legal teams from Altitude TV and Comcast did not produce a resolution Wednesday for the regional sports network’s television blackout on Comcast.

Talks to bring back locally broadcast Avalanche, Nuggets and Rapids games on the state’s largest cable provider are ongoing. But it is unclear when Altitude will make its return. The Kroenke-owned network has not appeared on Comcast since September 2019 when its contract expired.

Kroenke Sports and Entertainment, in a statement provided to The Denver Post on Wednesday, said: “KSE met today with Comcast and discussions are continuing.”

Kate Oravez, a Comcast spokesperson, told The Post: “We are continuing our discussions and plan to meet again.
