The answer truly is, we don’t know. Internally, the Nuggets are excited about his development and believe they have the next truly dynamic NBA duo in Murray and star center Nikola Jokic. Both players carried the load during the playoffs last season, averaging more than 46 points per game between the two of them and occasionally serving as the only reliable offensive options. Externally, the Nuggets have projected confidence in their young duo, committing to Jokic during the 2018 offseason and to Murray this past offseason.
