Most shrugged off the notion of Denver scooping the tumbling Kansas State product in the fourth round. After he tested so well and landed second-team Associated Press All-American honors for his above-average play at right tackle in 12 games for the Wildcats, Risner was projected as a second-round selection by NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein.
