Given Antonio Brown’s uncertain playing status, the troubling accusations surrounding him and his recent history of misbehavior, several current and former NFL executives said while they would not be surprised to see Brown signed by another team, they don’t believe it will happen particularly soon.
Brown is a free agent after being released Friday by the New England Patriots, but he remains under investigation by the NFL for allegations by two women of rape, sexual assault and intimidation. He could be put on paid administrative leave via placement on the commissioner’s exempt list if he’s signed by another club.
