No storyline during this NFL season has been more compelling than the Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback saga, with the cruel timing of the latest injury for Tony Romo counterbalanced by the triumphant ascent of once-unheralded rookie Dak Prescott.
The drama is not done even now, as the regular season winds down and the playoffs near. With Prescott suddenly struggling and the Cowboys coming off their first loss since the season opener, the issue has become: Under what circumstances might the team make a switch back to the now-healthy Romo?
