One of the NFL’s top running backs had some kind words for an iconic blue speedster.
Carolina Panthers and former Valor Christian star Christian McCaffrey is among the athletes featured in the “Sonic the Hedgehog” ad that will be shown during Super Bowl LIV on Sunday.
“I’ve studied the best spin moves. His? Legendary,” McCaffrey says in the commercial.
He adds, “That dude? He knows it’s all about the rings,” a reference to the rings Sonic collects in his video game series.
Later, he asks the digitally animated Sonic, “What’s this for again?
