The first question for Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller on Monday after the team’s first organized team activity was simple: Because of his $18 million-plus salary and last year’s ankle injury, is Miller surprised to still be wearing No. 58 in Denver?
“I’m not surprised at all,” Miller said. “I’m happy to be here. I’m excited to be here with the guys. To be honest, it feels good to be in the locker room and just joke with the guys and be in the mix again and have grass under my cleats and have my helmet on.”
Miller missed all of last year following an ankle injury in practice.
