The Denver Broncos are nearing the end of training camp, and a nasty part of football life has occurred. Several defensive linemen are either nicked up or altogether out for the season. It’s a building concern for the coaching staff, but one unassuming player’s name came be heard being yelled consistently from UCHealth Training Center.
Undrafted rookie Kyle Peko could not be progressing at a better time. Defensive linemen Vance Walker’s season ended Monday; Darius Kilgo is nursing an injury, and Wednesday Derek Wolfe left early practice with an ankle injury. Peko, on the other hand, is on the upswing.
