Three winners and three losers from first round of the 2020 NFL Draft

The 2020 NFL draft kicked off Thursday with the first round. Here’s a look at three teams thats came away winners, and three teams that came away losers, from the opening night of the draft.

First-round winners

Cincinnati Bengals — LSU QB Joe Burrow, No. 1

The Bengals made the correct, and obvious, call by taking Burrow as the Athens, Ohio, native became the fifth player to win the Heisman Trophy, the national title and get selected No. 1 overall in the same year. His senior season in which he led the country in passing yards, total offense and completion percentage — not to mention an NCAA-record 60 touchdown passes — projects as the franchise quarterback Cincinnati needs following Andy Dalton’s decline.
