Three players out due to injury, more questionable with “illness” for Broncos

The Broncos were already going to be short-handed at outside linebacker Sunday against Tennessee. Now it appears there will be more attrition.

Head coach Nathaniel Hackett on Friday ruled Baron Browning (groin) out for the game against the Titans and said rookie Nik Bonitto is questionable due to illness. Neither was present during the open portion of Friday’s practice nor was practice squad member Jonathan Kongbo.

The only three players working at the position Friday: Jonathon Cooper, newly acquired Jacob Martin and practice squad newcomer Zach McCloud. Randy Gregory (knee) is on short-term injured reserve and Denver traded Bradley Chubb to Miami during its bye week.
