According to 9NEWS Denver’s Mike Klis, the Denver Broncos had a pre-draft visit with former Iowa linebacker Josey Jewell today.
Josey Jewell is a 6’1”, 235lb inside linebacker who is considered one of the better inside linebacker prospects in the draft. He played his college ball at Iowa and was a reason why they had a tough defense during his tenure there.
Jewell played four seasons at Iowa and put up some impressive numbers during that span. During his four-year career at Iowa, Jewell totaled a whopping 433 tackles, 28 tackles for a loss, 10 sacks, 6 interceptions, 1 defensive touchdown, 26 pass deflections, 2 fumble recoveries and 3 forced fumbles.
