Rating the Broncos: Lindsay’s 30-yard touchdown produced by four key blocks

Even a player as fast and slippery as Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay needs help to break open a big gain.

And during his 30-yard touchdown in Sunday’s 24-19 win over the Cleveland Browns, Lindsay got help four times.

Consecutive completions of four, 10 and 24 yards put the Broncos in Browns territory late in the third quarter. The Broncos were in “21” personnel (2 WR/1 RB/1 FB/1 TE).

Lindsay took the handoff.

Left guard Dalton Risner pulled to block linebacker Mack Wilson.

Lead blocker/fullback Andy Janovich shielded safety Jermaine Whitehead.
