Did anyone realize there was actually a NFL game on Monday night? At least one internet-only TV service is reporting that viewers by far favored the first debate between presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump over Monday Night Football.
Sling TV, based in Douglas County, said at the peak, 68 percent more subscribers watched the debate on CNN, compared to viewing the New Orleans Saints vs. Atlanta Falcons football game on ESPN.
As you can see from Sling’s chart above, football got an early lead because the game started 30 minutes before the debate.
