Now that Peyton Manning has officially retired, every piece of memorabilia from his final season will become a valuable commodity.
The first big piece is set to hit the market. Manning’s 578th career touchdown pass to tight end Owen Daniels in the Broncos’ opening drive of their 20-18 AFC championship win over New England will be up for grabs for the general public.
After Daniels scored from 21 yards out, he spiked the ball into the ground in celebration. The ball flew into the stands and hit a 10-year-old boy, son of Chad Nelson, in the forehead.
