Peyton Manning's season of uncertainty has started. Sort of.
The Broncos' 39-year-old quarterback took the field at the team's Dove Valley headquarters Tuesday for the first day of voluntary veteran's mini camp.
As questions continue to loom about his transition to new coach Gary Kubiak's offense, as well as his protection from a weak offensive line that inevitably will undergo further changes this offseason, Manning appeared healthy and, naturally, eager to get to work. The Broncos' quarterback, who sustained a thigh injury late last season, worked with quarterbacks coach Greg Knapp and backups Brock Osweiler and Zac Dysert on light throwing drills.
