Leading up to the NFL’s trade deadline on Oct. 29, the Patriots are expected to be in the market for a wide receiver, and Broncos veteran Emmanuel Sanders is a name to watch, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Schefter reports Denver is likely to be open to trading Sanders as the team continues to struggle, most recently suffering a blowout home loss to the Chiefs on Thursday night. The Broncos are mired at 2-5 and dealt Demaryius Thomas to Houston last October for a fourth-round pick. According to Schefter, the asking price for Sanders is expected to be higher.
